Bruce Springsteen said something so true as he talked about how his relationship with his father and how it has impacted him:
“All I do know is as we age, the weight of our unsorted baggage becomes heavier, much heavier. With each passing year the price of our refusal to do that sorting rises higher and higher.”
Baggage. Everyone carries it. The good news is that we get to decide when we will stop carrying it! WE get to decide when to sort it out. No one forces us to carry the baggage. It is our choice. We get to decide when we will find the false beliefs and where they come from and then create new neural pathways with the truth; we get to decide when we will look at the physical side of depression and anxiety and invest in healing the gut-brain axis.
Perhaps you believe depression and anxiety is just part of your life, just like if you had any other illness. Maybe you believe the baggage of your challenges is just part of life and will never change. I used to believe that too. Now I know the truth. Let’s uncover the truth about your baggage together!
Baggage. FACE IT. FEEL IT. HEAL IT. I’d love to be part of your journey.
It matters!
