A Quiet Gift This Christmas Eve

When hidden patterns finally make sense.

On Christmas Eve, I come back to this simple truth:

Jesus is the reason for the season.

Not the lights.
Not the plans.
Not the way we hope everything will come together.

Him.

This year, one quiet gift Christ has been teaching me is patience.

Not the passive kind.
Not the “sit still and do nothing” kind.

The kind that keeps me moving forward even when things don’t turn out the way I think they should.

I can’t help but think of Mary.

Birthing the Son of God…
in a quiet stable…
surrounded by animals and straw.

Surely she imagined it would look different.

And yet–
God was still present.
Still faithful.
Still writing a holy story.

That reminder has been resting gently on my heart this season:

I can’t control every outcome.
But with Christ, I can choose how I respond.

Even when the story feels unfinished.
Even when the setting isn’t what I hoped for.
Even when life gets loud.

Jesus entered a messy world on purpose.
And He is not afraid of the parts of our story that don’t look the way we expected.

That truth is shaping how I’m stepping into the new year, learning to respond with truth and steadiness instead of striving or self-blame. It’s also the heart behind a free workshop I’ll be offering in January 2026, where I’ll be guiding women to create a New Story rooted not in perfect outcomes, but in who they’re becoming with God and how they choose to respond when life gets hard.

I’ll share more about that soon.

For tonight, may your heart rest here:

May you feel that Jesus is with you–right in the middle of the story you’re living.

Merry Christmas Eve.

If you’re sensing a desire to step into the new year with more steadiness and clarity, especially when life doesn’t go as planned, I’ll be sharing details soon about a free January workshop designed to help you do just that. Stay tuned.

Hi!
I'm Coach Mandy-Marie

In 2010, I felt stuck in depression–overwhelmed, anxious, and striving to get everything right. Trying harder only left me exhausted and disconnected.

Things shifted when I realized my mind and body weren’t broken–they were protecting me. As hidden patterns began to make sense, I found more calm, clarity, and capacity to handle what life brought.

Today, I help women understand the hidden patterns keeping them stuck, so they can live the life God created them to live.

🌿When hidden patterns finally make sense.

Calm your mind.
Steady your body.
Live aligned.
