Last week, a seemingly normal conversation with one of my children rattled me more than I expected.
I left feeling tender, confused, and emotionally off-kilter.
The words weren’t harsh. But the loop in my reaction brought a lot of shame.
Instead of brushing it off, I grabbed my notebook and asked:
“What am I learning from this?”
I expected a line or two.
Instead, two pages of truth poured out–and in that flood of awareness, I found breakthrough.
So I’m sharing those insights in a short new series called Behind the Breakthrough.
Because here’s the truth:
👉Even the strongest women get tripped up by invisible stories.
And the way through isn’t to hustle harder–it’s to look closer.
The first insight that surfaced?
I realized I’d been subconsciously waiting for my children to affirm the work I do as a life coach–as proof that I am doing something right…that I am “enough.”
It was humbling.
And freeing.
Because that pressure? That silent striving for approval?
It was building walls of resistance that I didn’t even notice. And now those walls are coming down.
What’s possible on the other side?
More peace
More clarity
More capacity to serve the women I’m called to lead
The lesson?
When we pause to ask better questions, we often discover that the resistance isn’t random–it’s revealing something.
And that “something” might just be your next breakthrough.
Want to find it?
Maybe you’ve felt stuck in a loop you can’t quite name.
Maybe it’s not about doing more–it’s about seeing differently.
That’s what I help my clients do every day.
We expose the hidden patterns that block your power, so you can finally move forward with clarity and boldness.
Your breakthrough might be closer than you think.
If you’re ready to uncover it, let’s get on a call. I’d love to support you.
Or just sit with this question today:
What’s the real story behind the resistance I’m feeling?
