For many women, that response turns inward:
“I must have done something wrong.”
“I need to fix this.”
“I should pull back.”
Not because it’s true.
But because your system is trying to restore safety.
When you understand that, something softens.
You don’t rush to fix yourself as quickly.
You can stay.
Get curious about that moment the next time it happens.
