If your calendar is full, your to-do list is growing, and your body already feels tired thinking about the next few weeks, you’re not imagining it.
December is beautiful… and it’s also a lot.
Parties, shopping, school events, family expectations, year-end work and it all stacks up fast. For many women, this pace quietly pushes the nervous system into overdrive, making peace feel just out of reach.
I see this all the time in the women I coach.
They’re doing the mindset work, but their body hasn’t yet received the signal that it’s safe to settle.
I’m wondering if that’s you right now–showing up, doing “the work,” but still feeling like your system is bracing for impact. When that goes on for weeks, even the good parts of December start to feel like one more thing your body has to survive.
Here’s the reframe I want you to hold:
Peace isn’t something you force.
It’s something your body must feel safe enough to receive.
So here’s a simple mind+body+spirit reset for the holiday rush, designed to increase oxytocin, the primary regulator of calm for the female nervous system:
🧠 Mind
“I don’t have to match the pace of December to be enough.”
💛 Body
Place one hand over your heart and gently wrap the other arm around yourself like a soft hug.
Let your shoulders soften.
Hold for 20–30 seconds and allow your body to register warmth and support.
🙏 Spirit
“God, meet me right here and steady my heart.”
If peace feels harder as the season speeds up, let this be your reminder:
If nothing shifts, your nervous system will keep running December like a marathon, even on the nights your calendar says “rest.”
You don’t have to outrun December to experience peace.
Your worth was settled long before your calendar filled up.
You’re allowed to receive peace right where you are.
With you in the becoming,
Coach Mandy-Marie
